| Practice Description: |
I love my work very much and can't imagine doing anything else. I focus on your strengths: you do not need to be "fixed," just supported and guided through self-change. Support is crucial. We all want to be happy and not suffer. I have great empathy and admiration for how we handle challenges and persevere. I learn invaluable lessons from my clients' courage, as well as from their so-called "weaknesses." My goal is to work WITH you to develop the skills you need and want for a better, happier life, including healthier relationships. You will not regret it!
I am personable and approachable. You will feel comfortable working with me. I find that humor, when used appropriately, can be very healing. I can help you discover the solution, I don't need to give it to you. Other strengths include empathy, experience, and very solid education and training.
I think my greatest strength is a unique blend of clinical skills and intuition, knowing what someone needs in the moment. I have a specialty in pet bereavement, an area often under-recognized. I have suffered many losses so my grief work comes from a very deep place, not a textbook. Please see my website (www.mentalhealth4you.com) for additional information.
