My training as a therapist began at New York University. I then worked at a large agency in Providence for many years, treating clients and supervising other therapists. My experience as a leader of an agency case review team broadened my perspective and enhanced my knowledge. I believe that clients can achieve their personal goals by looking inside themselves and discovering previously-unknown strengths and resources. There are certain life circumstances that may cause clients to feel in need of help; I believe that it is during these times of opportunity that clients have the greatest potential for positive change.
My approach with clients is open, warm, accepting and collaborative. I consider my role to be one of encouragement and supportive challenge. My hope is that clients will demonstrate a willingness to work towards goals by practicing new skills outside of treatment sessions.
I have helped clients with issues including mood disorders, anxiety, and adjustment to troublesome life events. Being well-versed in issues surrounding infertility, I offer support and guidance for people coping with this. My professional, handicapped-accessible office is conveniently located on a main street.

From Rt 146, Take Breakneck Hill Road exit. From the north, go left at the end of the ramp. From the south, go right at the end of ramp. Follow Breakneck Hill Rd through two traffic lights. It will become Front Street. At the second light (the intersection of River Rd and Front Street) you will see St. Jude's Church on your left. My building is the second on the right, a grey wooden structure, with my name on the bottom of the sign.
