| Practice Description: |
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with an integrative and psychodynamically oriented approach to therapy. I work with older adolescents and adults in both individual and couples therapy. I provide a safe and supportive atmosphere as we work collaboratively toward your goals. It is a privilege to work with clients and I have developed a great respect for those willing to journey into their inner world and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Each person is unique and therapy is tailored to help you grow, heal, and discover new options. My specialty is working with issues related to relationships, anxiety, trauma, fears/phobias, depression, life transitions, infertility, and adjustment to parenthood.
My work also includes assessment and career counseling. My training has included a wide range of psychological services in settings such as hospitals, community mental health, and college counseling centers. I am deeply sensitive to those of culturally diverse backgrounds and work with those who identify as straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.

Driving Directions
Coming from the West
1. From I-90 East, take the "Island Crest Way" exit (#7B)
2. Go through a tunnel and immediately get into the right lane (marked with a "right turn only" sign)
3. Turn RIGHT onto SE 30th St (first right after the tunnel)
4. Immediately get into the left turn lane and take your immediate LEFT (120 ft) into an alley (Note: if you come to a 4-way stop on SE 30th St & 80th Ave SE, you have gone too far)
5. Proceed down the alley (300ft) and park below the building with white framed windows and go up the stairs (please call for information regarding handicap access if the stairs will be difficult for you).
6. My office is on the ground floor. After entering the building turn right and proceed down the hallway. The waiting area is the first door to the left.
Coming from the East
1. From I-90 West, take the "Island Crest Way" exit (#7)
2. Take a LEFT at the light (Island Crest Way).
3. Go straight through the first light (SE 27th St) and then take a RIGHT onto SE 28th St
4. Turn LEFT at the next intersection onto 80th Ave SE
5. Turn LEFT at a four way stop onto SE 30th St
6. Take a quick RIGHT into the alley immediately past the "right turn only" sign (Note: If you go to Island Crest Way, you have gone too far)
7. Proceed down the alley (300ft) and park below the building with white framed windows and go up the stairs (please call for information regarding handicap access if the stairs will be difficult for you).

General Note: Do not rely on MapQuest or Google Maps for directions to my Mercer Island office, as they do not provide complete directions for my address.
Bus Directions
From downtown Seattle
Walk to 2nd AVE and Pike St, cross the street and take the Sound Transit ST550 or ST554 bus routes headed Eastbound (toward Bellevue for the ST550 and toward Issaquah for the ST554). Get off at the Mercer Island Park & Ride (located adjacent to I-90 along North Mercer Way and 80th Avenue S.E.). The bus will drop you off on the south side of the street. Follow the sidewalk south down 80th Ave SE and you will pass by A Tully's on your right. As you continue through the park you will see a piece of Artwork straight in front of you, followed by a Washington Mutual in front of you as you walk across S.E. 27th ST. Continuing down 80th Ave SE, you will see Auto Spa on your left, Shell and QFC on your right, Invisible Fence Northwest to your right, and Bank of America on your left. Right after you pass the Skelton Building on your left, you will be at the intersection of 80th Ave SE and SE 30th St. Continue across the intersection and then turn left onto 30th. Walk up the hill and turn right onto the second driveway. I am located in the second building to the left. Just go up the steps. My office is located on the ground floor.
