Welcome. Together you or your family and I, will resolve to build upon your strengths, and enhance your self-esteem, your happiness, and your relationships. The creative process combined with verbal therapy can more easily help you access self-expression and insight, while reducing stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness and fear. I am your ally, with 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and a lifetime of using the creative arts to meet my own life's challenges. I have helped people ages 2 1/2 to 103 achieve balance, and emotional, social and cognitive growth.
As an art therapist in partnership with my clients, we have resolved problems relating to: anxiety, stress, depression, Selective Mutism, Asperger's Syndrome, Separation Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, ADD, Learning disabilities, gifted issues, Alzheimer's Disease and other neurological disorders, terminal or chronic illness, relationship issues, parenting, and caregiving.
My therapeutic approach, driven by your needs, is eclectic, creative, interactive, humanistic, and psychodynamic. You can control the amount of time devoted to verbal or creative expression. In a calm, comfortable office environment, or your own home, you will find me to be deeply supportive and worthy of your trust.
