| Practice Description: |
My approach to psychotherapy is depth-oriented, drawing from Jungian, analytic and psychoanalytic psychology. I approach clients' daily struggles and life traumas/crises with both a hand in coping and managing strategies as well as with a deeper exploration of the inner workings of the psyche, as they relate to one's current situation. For some, the psychotherapeutic process is primarily verbal. For others, a multi-modality creative approach is helpful. I offer the option to work with sandplay technique and authentic movement as other avenues of accessing and expressing emotions and psychological material.
I offer individual therapy and groups for adults and adolescents; specializing in the psychology of women and adolescent girls dealing with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma or abuse and life transition issues.
