Linda has over 20 years of experience in helping people heal from depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Specializing in short term solution oriented marriage counseling, Linda provides a three part evaluation to get a comprehensive picture of marital issues. She is committed to helping couples find new behaviors to make their marriages successful. She is trained in a technique that teaches improved safe communication and enhances emotional intimacy.
Linda uses a cognitive model to treat anxiety and depression. However, she will often enlist the participation of a caring partner to help provide healing for eraly wounding that contributes to emotional disorders.
She also realizes that divorce is a reality in our society. She will always encourage that efforts be made to salvage a marriage. For those couples who are unable to make their marriage survive she has trained in collaborative divorce. Over the years Linda has seen the destruction caused to individuals by the traditional litigation system. Collaborative divorce allows couples to divorce with a decreased amount of trauma to the families involved by letting couples make the important decisions regarding the end of the marriage.
