| Practice Description: |
I am a psychotherapist who specializes in treating anxiety, depression and issues related to loss/trauma. Perhaps you worry a lot or have difficulties making decisions. Possibly you feel sad, alone, having difficulties making meaningful connections. Maybe you would like to gain greater self awareness and inner peace. With empathy and understanding, I'll guide you as we address your thoughts, feelings and behaviors that cause conflict and produce stress. I will engage you in the process of talking, reflecting, listening and acting on your perceptions. We will work together to gain insight and understanding as you develop improved coping, subsequently able to create positive change and personal growth.
Anxiety and depression inhibit effective problem solving, complicate relationships, and decrease positive self regard. It can keep you from living your life the way you want to. I can help you understand your particular difficulties, work through the patterns that keep you stuck, develop improved problem solving skills as you begin to feel more confidence to live the life you want.
My past experience as an artist provides me with a particular sensitivity to the creative professions. I provide individual and couples therapy for adults and adolescents with a wide range of emotional and life problems. Therapy is provided with genuine interest in your specific situation. Please feel free to call.
