I enjoy working in a partnership with children, adolescents, and adults as they make positive strides in their lives working through issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief and loss. To our sessions, I bring information regarding your specific issue and therapeutic interventions and you bring the information about yourself and how the particular issues are affecting your life. As a result of working together, you will develop coping skills needed to live your life well.
In addition to my clinical social work license, I am a teacher licensed in early/elementary/middle and special education. I am able to provide support and information to families regarding their child's development, educational issues, behavioral interventions, and the special education system. I am currently an adjunct faculty staff member at George Mason University in the Undergraduate and Master of Social Work program and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
