Practice Description: I am a psychodynamically oriented, board certified clinical social worker working with individuals and couples. My approach is collaborative and straightforward with the goal of helping expand self awareness, insight and understanding of patterns of reacting and relating that cause difficulty. Through increased awareness, clients gain more freedom to respond in ways more satisfying and meaningful in their lives. Each therapy is unique in detail and duration. There are many different approaches to psychotherapy, but most important is the therapeutic relationship. As a client you need to feel comfortable and safe, knowing what you discuss will be kept confidential.

I have experience and interest in assisting clients with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma, illness and work place issues particular to high tech work environments.

If you find you have questions or would like to know more about my work with clients, feel free to visit my website or call my office. I'd be happy to talk with you.
