It's not uncommon for people to realize that they need professional help in dealing with their lives from time to time. Feeling "stuck" is a common reason for someone to finally reach out for help. Many people are a bit intimidated by the prospect of calling someone. I feel that being comfortable, having a strong connection and confidence in your Therapist's abilities are important aspects of Therapy. I pride myself in putting my clients at ease and forming a strong Therapeutic bond. My style is extremely goal oriented. I strive to move the process forward in a manner that empowers the client, working with them to make healthier choices, and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
I have a strong background with Addiction issues and working with adolescents, family members and adults that have been touched by addictions. I also have a great deal of experience working with individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.
