Practice Description: R & R Counseling Center for Hope:
Is a mental health counseling center, owned and operated by Kathy Coleman. R & R are acronyms for Restoration & Recovery" birthed from Kathy's life-long desire to help others recover from depression, anxiety, disappointments, abuse, low self-esteem, homelessness and other debilitating emotional disturbances and life experiences to having their lives restored to hope again.

About Me:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I coordinated a small residential psychiatric unit for adults experiencing distressing emotional symptoms at a reputable Community Mental Health Agency for several years. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Missouri Mental health Counseling Association (MMHCA).

I am trained to listen and interact in a way that helps you get to the very root of your emotional concerns for good. I offer you an opportunity to face your difficulties constructively and confidently; freeing you to enjoy all the good things life has to offer. I am committed to providing a confidential therapeutic relationship that is both safe and supportive.

My Philosophy :
I strongly believe in the effectiveness of psychotherapy (talk therapy) as an aid to healing. I believe we are triune beings; we are spirits, we possess a soul and live in a body. I do not believe we can effectively treat one part while neglecting the whole. You can expect to address issues such as healthy eating, proper rest, spirituality, hope, support, and the like. The integrative approach combines different therapeutic methods specific to the individual and the individual situation. The holistic approach recognizes that every aspect of life contributes to healing.

If you have the resolve, together we can work through your struggles. Stop suffering in silence and get the help you deserve. Give me a call and let's meet so you can see if my practice is right for you.

Sincerely,

Kathy Coleman
