Couples often express feelings of loneliness, anger and despair. I help couples understand why they are experiencing these feelings, how these feelings are influencing their relationship and how we can work on developing tools to foster better communication and understanding. In an environment of respect, safety and support, couples can learn how to recognize the dynamics that have driven their relationship and can learn how to renew, revitalize, and revise a more meaningful life together.
Individuals often enter therapy with feelings of powerlessness and a desire to experience more meaning and clarity in their lives. With acceptance, validation and trust, I help them reconnect with their internal strengths and resources. In the process of reconnecting with their authentic self, individuals move towards a place of healing and growth.
For the past fourteen years, I have worked successfully with numerous individuals and couples. My work has focused on issues of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, as well as issues that impinge upon intimacy and connectedness.
