Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have been providing psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children for over 11 years, in both public and private settings. I am originally from Brazil, where I graduated from College, and completed my major in clinical psychology, and later graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where I completed the master's degree, also in psychology. For the past 8 years, I have been treating clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, as well as couples on the brink of divorce. Being from Brazil provides me not only with the ability to speak other languages, but to also have cultural sensitivity, especially to treat Latino/ Hispanic clients. I do believe in the powerful relationship between the client and the therapist, which promotes self realization, insight, self control and personal awareness. Life is to be lived happily and completely, without feeling fear, guilt, shame or pain.
