Consultation for Home/School Communication Concerns
Beverly Hills - Los Angeles Counseling & Consultation
Practice Description: You’re a mature adult – haven’t been a kid for a long time! So why do you feel, and sometimes act, like a child as soon as you visit with your parents, siblings or other family members? Family visits can be stressful – no matter how old you are. Conflicts or tensions often arise, just when you want most to demonstrate that you’re different now – that you can handle the same old challenges your family keeps throwing at you!

And - maybe it's not just your family that makes life so tough sometimes! Are too many of your conversations turning into arguments these days? Things have changed in your life - and you really would like to be able to talk about what's happening to you? Maybe you’re used to figuring things out yourself – and asking for help just wasn’t in your plans. But, if you’re reading this, maybe you’ve decided to think some about getting a little more support to get you over some of the curves life has thrown you.

Perhaps you are the one who is used to helping others – and your own needs get lost in the process. The helpers and leaders of the world often don’t know how to communicate effectively in order to get their own needs met. As a result, feelings can become overwhelming - and even simple day-to-day communication can become more difficult. You may also find that the support system you used to have isn't there for you anymore - and you're too stressed to reach out. The bottom line may be - you don't get your needs met. If this sounds familiar, I'd like to help.

I know that asking for help might feel like the hardest thing you've ever done. I also know that taking that risk could help you feel much better. And - you may find it can be a big relief to just tell your story confidentially to someone who understands and can help.

And - please browse my website for more information about my practice.

If you're unsure about starting or returning to therapy, let's talk - then you decide! You only need to make that first call.
