Let's face it- the experience of a life crisis or the discovery of past dysfunctional patterns is usually, not fun. At the same time, gaining self awareness is life changing and can help break old, ugly habits. Whether it is a current crisis or the desire to change old patterns, my style is nurturing, directive and fun. I work with you as a team getting to the core of the problem. I am intrinsically, an optimist which is helpful for people who are looking for new and positive coping skills. With over fifteen years experience, I feel comfortable treating a vast variety of personal problems including; relationship struggles, marital conflicts, addiction issues, eating disorders, codependency, blended families and parenting. I have good knowledge of the twelve step program, have had extensive training in couples treatment and am currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
