As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in treating relationship issues. I am trained to participate in facilitating change in relationships between people in order to achieve more satisfying interpersonal relationships. I do this by working with individuals, families and children. Before becoming an MFT, I worked for more than 20 years with adolescents and young adults. I have always enjoyed working with that age group and continue to specialize in that population. I also have experience working with children and adults of all ages.
As our world becomes increasing complex, many of us find the need to go outside of our family and social support networks for help. In my practice, I understand the pressures the world we live in can create.
I believe we have a wealth of information that we carry inside us that can be the key to unlock the distressing events or relationships in our life. I work with my clients from that prospective. Using the knowledge they already have, we begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together to create more satisfying patterns and relationships.
