| Practice Description: |
I have a wonderful practice filled with intelligent successful clients who have taught me much over the past 24 years as they have come to me with a wide range of concerns. Yet all these concerns fall into two categories: love and work. At the end of the day, having quality relationships with other people, especially with those with whom we are most intimately involved, and being involved in meaningful work/activities are the central to our entire experience of life.
My experience has taught me that "one size does not fit all" and being in private practice has allowed me to learn and use different approaches according to the needs of my clients. I do know that people must not only gain new understanding about their problems and concerns, they must also have an actual experience of how things could be better for them.
I am an empathetic, active listener who approaches my clients' concerns with respect, honesty, pragmatism, caring and sometimes, with humor. I am results oriented, and am always looking for ways that my clients can transfer what they experience and learn in my sessions to their real life.
