I help people recognize and change painful patterns that keep them from reaching their fullest potential. Recognizing the sources of these struggles is important, leading to lasting changes and more conscious choices. I work psychodynamically, but I am also trained in cognitive-behavioral approaches. I provide a non-judgemental and collaborative environment. My approach is direct and respectful of your desire and capacity to change.
In addition to my private practice, I also educate other therapists. I have presented workshops both regionally and nationally. I am adjunct faculty at the University of Maryland Graduate School of Social Work and past President of the Baltimore Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
