I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supportive and strength based psychotherapy to help clients meet their goals.
In my practice I serve:

* Adolescents
* Adults
I use individual and family therapy to help children, adolescents and adults cope with the effects of trauma and transitions. Issues addressed include: healing from abuse, divorce, school difficulties, domestic violence, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, self esteem, body image, support for coping with chronic illness (including PCOS) and more.
My thoughts on therapy:
I view therapy as a collaborative process between client and therapist. In my work, I look for the strengths that are inherent in each of us and seek to help my clients work toward meeting their goals in a supportive and affirming environment. Just as each person's needs and experiences are unique, I work to tailor my services to each individual and to help him or her find the factors which may be impacting their current situation - whether they are in the past or present, and to help them move into a space of healing and growth.
