| Practice Description: |
I work with adults and adolescents in individual therapy. I see clients with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, life transitions, OCD, relationship issues, low self-esteem, career and school issues. I have been licensed as a psychologist since 1989. My strong clinical background in a variety of treatment settings, in addition to experience in career consulting, helps me to have a broad perspective in working with my clients. My goal is to help men and women self-actualize and flourish in our rapidly changing world. For more information, call my confidential voice mail (412)367-1481, ext3.
I rely most strongly on a combination of insight-oriented therapy and cognitive therapy. I am an active therapist, who listens but also provides specific feedback and recommendations. My experience throughout my career has convinced me that psychotherapy can help people make significant changes in their lives.
During my career as a psychologist I have worked in a wide range of settings, including community mental health, emergency mental health, a specialty clinic for teenagers and in career assessment. This range of experience has enabled me to bring a broad perspective to my therapy practice.
