Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
At my core, I am a humanist. What this means is that my treatment approach is grounded in my belief (based on both science and experience) that each one of us possesses an innate life push toward mental health and emotional well-being. Psychological symptoms and emotional suffering result when that innate push toward health and well-being is interrupted, stifled, broken by trauma, or chronically stalled by harmful relationships.
While many people may share certain symptoms or seem to have similar problems, no two people are alike. I specialize in understanding how you came to struggle with your particular problems and in developing a working relationship that will be effective for you. I do that with each and every client.
You'll find that I am sincere, empathic, active, compassionate, steady, interested, and informed.
My training is broad and deep and in the end, I specialize in "personalization"; in helping you overcome the challenges that have prevented you from being the non-depressed, non-anxious, successful, emotionally fulfilled person you want to be.
