I believe that therapy is an individualized experience, requiring the best compatibility of personality and treatment approach to match a client’s needs. Clients that are most pleased with my treatment approach are the ones ready to make changes in their life and be honest with themselves. They tend to be individuals and families experiencing difficulty adjusting to a specific change, people in recovery from drugs and alcohol, and people with generalized forms of Anxiety and Depression, and post traumatic stress disorder.
My specialties include insight oriented therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and therapy designed to assess and improve one's motivation. I also have specialized training in parenting for children ages 10-18 diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I do my best to tailor my approach to individual personalities and needs.
