Practice Description: I see the core of our being as naturally whole, compassionate, and wise. Because of life circumstances, we sometimes lose touch with our wholeness and experience symptoms of imbalance. Stress or life transitions can create inner conflict and confusion. The process of counseling provides resolution. Inner peace and a sense of well being result from the integration of the mind, body and spirit. As part of this process, we explore unconscious beliefs and thought patterns, restoring clarity and hope. We explore the energy body and see where trauma or pain has impeded the natural flow of energy, releasing blocks to restore natural vitality. By exploring meaning and inspiration in an individual's life, we awaken a fresh outlook.and new possibilities. We cultivate a base of supportive connections through enhancing one's relationship to oneself, others and the world.

My work is both practical and expansive. Clients experience change in their lives as a result of the work. They come away with practical tools that empower them to meet life's challenges more effectively. By learning to be more mindful in one's life, individuals report feeling more satisfaction. Relationships improve and symptoms subside. Individuals experience the freedom and joy of fully being their natural selves; whole, healthy and wise.

My areas of specialty include: anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, relationship issues, life transitions, intimacy and sexuality, mind/body integration, chronic pain and illness, spiritual growth, dream work, creativity, stress reduction, meditation, and achieving balance through connection with nature.

Being a guide to individuals on their healing journey is my passion. My commitment is to provide an environment that is compassionate, clear and catalyzing for individuals, couples and groups to stretch the bounds of their being. Of particular interest to me is working with couples, which I consider pioneering work. In this time of paradigm shift the expectations and dynamics of relationships have completely changed. The roles that guided the prior generation are no longer viable. Couples are exploring new, more authentic ways of relating, beyond roles and convention. Often times I combine couples work with individual work to explore each person's inner relationship of the feminine and masculine energies within themselves. The external relationship is a mirror of one's inner dynamic, so that making it conscious can greatly transform one's relationships.

My background is diverse. I have worked with individuals and couples, and facilitated groups in both the public and private sector over the past 24 years. Some of the groups I have facilitated include Stress Reduction, Wellness in the Workplace, Healing Trauma, Cultivating Intuition, Body, Sex and Soul, Exploring the Divine Feminine, Healing through Nature and others. In 1995 I co-authored a program and book entitled "Stress Management and Wellness" which is taught today in community corrections nation wide. I work with individuals, couples and groups from adolescence to adulthood. I also work with individuals over the telephone if they are unable to attend sessions in person. Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary session. I look forward to meeting you!

Warm regards,
Jane
