| Practice Description: |
You can overcome the past and feel good about yourself.
Do you feel troubled by events in your past that you can't seem to forget? Perhaps you have nightmares or trouble sleeping. You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed or have difficulty making decisions. You may have one difficult relationship after another, or you may feel stuck and unhappy in your current relationship. Perhaps you have been a victim of trauma or abuse, or are a veteran of the military who is suffering from Post Truamatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or combat trauma.
Whatever your problems, as a therapist, I'd like to help. Through therapy, we can work together to help you feel calmer, more relaxed, and more in control of your life.
Therapy will help you heal from past hurts and traumas so they no longer trouble you in the present. Therapy can help you grow closer to others, and be more positive and happy in your life. Your relationships can become more satisfying and you can feel more in charge of your life. Together, through counseling, I will help you create a roadmap to healing that is right for you.
As a therapist over the past 32 years, I have helped people overcome difficult and traumatic experiences including abuse and war trauma. In my therapy practices in Encino and Santa Clarita, I use cutting-edge counseling treatments for trauma including EMDR (eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that help create happiness and peace of mind. My goal is to create a compassionate, caring, and nurturing environment in which you feel safe and comfortable as you move through the therapeutic process and heal from past wounds.
