| Practice Description: |
Mindfulness, balance, growth, and empowerment. It is possible to achieve a higher level of inner peace and reduce unnecessary suffering. We all can "lose our way" at times and find ourselves in situations that are difficult and painful. I believe that these crises can hold within them tremendous opportunities for growth and strengthening. Although most enter therapy during a crisis, the therapeutic process need not also feel painful or traumatizing. I try to create a safe, affirming, relevant, and even enjoyable therapeutic experience for my clients. The transformation of suffering into a resource of personal strength, helps ALL experiences feel worthwhile. The mental, emotional, and relational peacefulness that emerges is the result that we all strive to achieve.
My style is warm, direct, and interactive. I collaborate with my clients to achieve a sense of purpose and relevancy in our work together. My youthful energy, pragmatic approach, and extensive experience allow me to engage easily with children and adolescents. I am honored to assist my clients in transforming suffering into wisdom and a higher level of resiliency.
