If you are struggling through challenging situations and if you are ready to make a change, then now is the time to take your life in a new direction. Focusing on skill-building and empowerment, I utilize strength-based counseling techniques with families, couples, individuals, and groups. Through counseling, clients will learn to recognize and understand innate feelings and behaviors, and learn new ways of facing and dealing with life's challenges. My strength-based approach enables clients to gain the self-awareness needed to foster change.
When conducting family sessions, I utilize a systems theory perspective, meaning the family as a whole is treated as the client. Combining systems theory with accompanying therapeutic counseling techniques, families interact, reflect, and adjust behaviors to build new, more effective ways of interacting.
In addition to normal business hour appointments, evening and weekend appointments are available. For your convenience, pay scale options include an income-based sliding scale to ensure financial constraints do not impede treatment.
