Welcome! My approach to psychotherapy is a positive one. I am more interested in your strengths and ambitions than I am in your past failures. 53 years on the planet and 15 years in private practice have taught me that people who are doing their dream, or at least moving in that direction, tend to be happier, healthier, and more at peace.
In addition, I find that as people are better able to get their authentic needs met, the need for unhealthy behaviors and negative thinking tend to fall away. Identifying the obstacles to getting those needs met, and mapping out incremental steps toward fulfillment of one's life goals inspires a person to move more freely and authentically in the world.
