Practice Description: POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY is my main emphasis. I look for what is right, what strengths, etc the client has and use them to get success and then build on that success. Presenting issues are addressed and a mutually agreed upon treatment plan is then developed with the client and me acting as a team.

I have 20+ years working successfully with children and families. I have two master's degrees and extensive training in many areas including children, families, individual adults and teens. Elder issues are becoming more prominent and I have a great deal of experience in this area also.

I got my undergraduate degree at Notre Dame College, a master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Villanova University and a master's degree in Clinical/Developmental Psychology at Bryn Mawr College. My training included a year at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic. I have two year of training at the University of Maryland, Department of Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Out-Patient Center and supervised training in private practice.

Families and children are my main specialty. My practice and training also included marital/couples therapy, individual adult therapy and teen therapy.
