| Practice Description: |
We all sometimes walk through emotionally painful periods in our lives. We may feel hurt, scared, betrayed and alone. There are times that life may derail us. We may feel off track, confused, and traumatized. If you are at this point in your life, I can help you through this crisis or phase. I am experienced in recognizing why you may have derailed, and can give you the special, personalized attention to help you get back on track.
Utilizing an interactive approach, meeting you where you are, with care and respect, I provide various integrated theories and modalities to guide you toward achieving healing and personal empowerment.
Through telling your story, in a safe and understanding environment, you will uncover your authentic self---whole, healthy, nurturing, and powerful with the ability to love and accept yourself, and create healthy and loving relationships. With a willing spirit to let go of unhealthy past attachments, you can honor and heal your past, and learn to choose things differently. There are healthier options just waiting to be chosen. You will learn the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behavior, and how to select new ways of being.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance. I am a skillful listener, supportive, and a calm presence. My empathy draws me into the essential non-judgmental relationship with people. Together, we create an alliance based on compassion and respect. This forms the foundation that can break intergenerational cycles of abuse, neglect, addictions, and trauma, and replace them with joyous and meaningful family relationships. I will go beyond helping you understand the heart of the matter; I am solution-focused and will help you be true to your path. I will offer you tools and techniques, supportive education, and give you guidance and direction to bring about lasting desired change, well-being, and self-transformation.
Meeting the needs of people in distress with respect and compassion is the core of my work. I welcome you to experience understanding and comfort that restores resilience and a peaceful heart through life’s difficult times. Remember, regardless of what anyone has told you about yourself, or what you believe, you are worthy, valuable, lovable, important, intelligent, and deserve to be happy.
