Have you ever wondered why your interpersonal relationships are difficult or tumultuous; whether with your significant others, co-workers, and even family members? Insight into these dynamics and understanding the origin behind such difficult interactions is essential in improving ones way of relating.
A combination of Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic approach is used in helping people understand their way of relating to others and discover the origin behind the difficulties. A psychoanalytic approach is also used with children 1 month-6yrs; crucial age in ones psychological development and can influence their personality as adults.
With the help and participation from caregivers I can help develop daily living skills and minimize defiance in children diagnosed with Autism or cognitive delays as well as typically developed children and teenagers with oppositional behavior issues.
Behavioral Therapy along with Applied Behavior Analysis techniques are used in treating children with behavior disorders and developmental disabilities. If deemed necessary or requested I am open to observing the child in their home environment as well as doing an in office consultation.
