| Practice Description: |
Life can be very stressful at times and sometimes we all need a little extra support. Some changes in life that can cause stress are • upcoming marriage • birth/adoption in family • recent move or job change • a child leaving home for first time • caring for elderly parents • separation/divorce • death in family
These are just some of the major life changes or transitions that can happen to anyone at one time or another. Other stresses include: • not getting along with an employee/boss or friend • conflict with partner/parents/family • parenting issues/conflict • addiction issues
Sometimes these situations can feel overwhelming and unmanageable. When life changes occur, it helps to have an objective person to help us see things clearly or help us to handle things constructively.
As a therapist, I help people navigate life changes in a supportive environment and by teaching positive coping strategies and stress management skills that you can take home and put into immediate practice!
If you are dealing with a life change, I would be happy to talk with you. Together we can determine if the therapy services I offer are something that would be a benefit to you. I accept MC/VISA/AMEX & Discover as well as many insurances, all PPO insurances, and several EAP’s. Please visit my website at www.navigatechanges.com or call me at 619-687-9013.
