When you are stuck, overwhelmed, lost, afraid or in crisis, being with an experienced and seasoned therapist who provides a safe place to think and feel can be enormously relieving and transformative. I have experience with many types of people from different cultures and backgrounds and life situations. My approach is engaging, warm and expansive.
People often seek therapy at times of either great turmoil or when they simply feel unsatisfied with the quality of their lives, frozen, bored, stuck or numb.
I work to utilize the moment you enter my office as an important opening for a new experience.
I have over 16 years of experience. I am adept in issues of sexuality, depression, anxiety, problems in intimacy, couples dynamics, life transitions and problems at work. I have focused experience with health issues, men's concerns, porn addiction, sexual compulsivity, high intensity careers, self-image, self-care, alternative families.
My background as a Clinical Psychologist as well as advanced clinical training in psychoanalysis allows me to work deeply with conflict and layers of complexity. Analytic training has proven to help me be more effective at identifying the source of difficulties, to quickly get to the "heart of the problem."
