Dr. Tempinski is a clinical psychologist with more than 25 years experience treating adult individuals. She is fully licensed in the state of Michigan. Her solo private practice has been designed with the goal of maximizing client confidentiality. Dr. Tempinski works with the philosophy that most emotional difficulties stem from inner turmoil that can be understood and resolved:
"Our minds and emotions are so complex that it can be helpful to obtain an objective perspective from a professional who is trained to appreciate the complicated ways in which our minds work. The process of therapy is a team effort that aims to understand and appreciate the dynamics underlying the client's feelings and behavior. When this is done skillfully in the context of a relationship with a therapist wherein the client feels warmly understood, dramatic change is possible."

3) An initial assessment designed to: a) delineate the interferences in your emotional well being, b) ascertain whether Dr. Tempinski is the therapist for you, and c) design an individualized plan to resolve these interferences.
4) If Dr. Tempinski is unable to accommodate your needs for whatever reason, she will make every effort to help you find an appropriate alternative treatment source.
5) Accessibility: An initial appointment is usually available within 2-3 days

You, however, direct your own treatment and make your own treatment decisions. |
