| Practice Description: |
I believe that most people want to live a fulfilling and rewarding life. I honor the struggles that accompany that desire and recognize that entering psychotherapy is a tremendous step for some. I have been working in mental health since 1999 and have maintained a private practice since 2004. My practice is part-time, mostly evenings. I do both long-term as well as briefer forms of therapy. Although my approach is primarily Existential-Humanistic, I will draw on other approaches, such as Family Systems or Experiential approaches, as necessary to meet the needs of clients.
In addition to my private practice, I am an adjunct instructor at Ottawa University/Phoenix campus, adjunct faculty at Arizona State University, and maintain full-time employment with Southwest Behavioral Health Services as Attending Psychologist for its Crisis Recovery Unit and Training Director for the Psychology residents and practicum students.
