| Practice Description: |
When you are tired of struggling through life and are ready for something better, I can help. You'll find that I work collaboratively and interactively with you to help identify and alter the thoughts, behaviors, and interpersonal styles that are interfering with your happiness. I enjoy working with people of all ages who may be suffering from a variety of problems. My style integrates techniques from cognitive-behavioral and other approaches to best fit your needs. I also believe that my life experiences as an engineer, husband, and parent also season my perspectives as a clinician.
Experiencing a traumatic event, such as an accident, crime, or military combat can affect all members of the family, whether they were present during the trauma or not. My specialties include working with trauma survivors and their families, and also in helping parents modify disruptive behaviors in their children or teens.
Along with psychotherapy, I also provide psychological testing as a way to better understand individual strengths and weaknesses, and to diagnose a range of disorders including ADHD.

From Hwy 85, take Hwy 17 south. Exit on Highway 9/Los Gatos Saratoga Road (exit 20B) going West, toward downtown Los Gatos. Turn left at the first stop light, which is University Avenue (you'll see a Hobee's Restaurant on the corner). My office is located in the red brick building about a tenth of a mile down on the right hand side.
