| Practice Description: |
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the primary treatment method employed by this practice. It is supported by the research and is widely used. Its effectiveness allows for people to achieve their therapy goals in a relatively short period of time. This practice specializes in the treatment of depression and anxiety in adults.
Therapy is an investment, but a good one. One's well-being is the most important thing in life. With a healthy sense of self, one is able to view one's life realistically, but also with hope; to initiate and maintain rewarding and reciprocal relationships; to make good choices regarding career and money. The purpose of therapy is ultimately to help an individual develop healthy well-being. Thus, therapy pays off--and well--in the long run.
Often, people fear therapy because they are afraid to be judged, afraid of the financial/time investment, or afraid of divulging "too much" information about themselves. Then there is the issue of not knowing what to expect. I can promise that your information is kept completely confidential and you will not be judged. My goal is to help you meet YOUR goals. This is done collaboratively and supportively. There is nothing to fear.
Evening and weekend appointments are available. Wednesday daytime hours available.
I am accepting couples therapy clients as well. The rate for couples is $75.00 per session.
