| Practice Description: |
I believe truly knowing that you can improve in your struggles, pain, and/or symptoms is one of the most valuable first steps you can make. I work together with my clients to develop goals that focus on symptom relief and help the client improve their quality of life. Learning to manage the stress of daily life along with managing the struggles of the past can and will produce positive change! My approach is working with the whole person to develop practical solutions to overcome the things that get in the way of healthy living.
I am also an adjunct professor at two local Universities where I have taught classes to other professionals in the areas of depression, anxiety, PTSD, assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and neuro-psychology. I have also presented at local and national conferences in the areas of trauma, depression and anger.
I have 10+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My first passion is working with my clients, and I look forward to meeting each person, and receive great satisfaction from facilitating improvement.
