| Practice Description: |
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples in short and long-term psychotherapy. My work focuses on exploring the memories of the relational dynamics from one's family-of-origin, the feelings those dynamics caused for one as a child, and how one now relates to those feelings and memories. I believe that understanding these dynamics and freeing up these old, often pushed-away feelings and memories can be very helpful to someone who wants to be more proactive in implementing change in their lives--that is, not to repeat what has caused them suffering in the past. I find that this type of work allows us to develop a more fulfilling way of relating to others and to ourselves.
