I have worked with individuals with eating disorders and obesity and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression for over 20 years. My professional training is in cognitive/behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). What attracts me to these treatment approaches is their basis in research, demonstrated effectiveness, and emphasis on a collaborative approach between myself and the individuals with whom I work.
