| Practice Description: |
I have a private practice in Los Alamitos and Long Beach where I consult with individuals, couples and parents providing family and relationship counseling, sports psychotherapy and mental/emotional coaching with elite youth, collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes and parents/or significant others. I am available for consultation in-person, on-site or by phone. I have significant experience working with multicultural and international individuals, athletes and families. I help both individual and team sport athletes and individuals to develop mental toughness, reduce anxiety, enhance confidence, goal setting, stress management, motivation and supplement awareness. Parenting of elite youth and the associated parenting issues is fundamental to the process. The emphasis of their training is to create effective thinking patterns and more effective sport behavior which can lead to more consistent sport performance. I can also assist with identifying and educating with regard to sport supplement training.
Much of this focus is conducive to enhancing relationships overall.
I also supervise social work graduate students during their internships and help guide them in their practical education.
