My expertise is in helping children cope with the many difficulites that come their way as well as assisting parents to understand what acting out behavior means. I team up with parents to create an environment at home that will help make their children successful at home, at school and in the community.
I work with children who are affected by learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety and depression, divorce, blended families, trauma, domestic or community violence, adoption or foster care placement.. I work with parents to understand their children and to manage their children's behavior more effectively. I see children as young as 3 and up to about 13.
I have been an elementary school counselor for years and bring my wealth of experience to my private practice.
