| Practice Description: |
"Learn to Live Well" reflects my belief that psychotherapy is a positive, educational process. I assume each client has an innate knowledge of how to solve their problems but may have become caught in a frustrating loop of trying the same, unsuccessful solution attempts over and over. Often, a look at ones family of origin reveals patterning and learned behaviors that prevent creative, successful solutions from surfacing. In many cases, this process may not only solve existing problems, but prevent future difficulties.
Each client is valued, affirmed and encouraged to learn in their own way and time frame. My goal is to provide a safe environment for individuals, couples or families to get to the truth of what they are feeling and thinking without shame or fear. My hope is that clients will not only feel that they are getting help, but will enjoy therapy as a learning process uniquely suited to them and their desired outcomes.
