My aim is to encourage couples to treat each other with respect and change damaging and insulting patterns of relating. I also encourage individuals to view the system that they are forming with their partner, so that they can change their pattern of action/reaction and develop a more healthy and enjoyable way of relating. I teach clients to settle disputes effectively so that they do not continue to fight uselessly and get discouraged about the relationship.
I teach stress management techniques and consider the different aspects of a person's life which include family, friends, work, health, and spiritual issues.
