| Practice Description: |
As a counselor I enjoy working with clients of all ages and use a variety of tools and modalities. Talk therapy is central and often very helpful. I have been using EMDR for many years and find it to be very helpful with some clients. I enjoy using an imaginal approach, which works well with EMDR and other methods, including dreamwork, sandplay, and systemic constellations. I also use a method called Gentle Reprocessing that is helpful with those who have difficulty with EMDR.
I completed an Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and greatly appreciate how effectively it works. I love working with couples using the EFT approach.
Low Energy Neurofeedback (LENS) is new in my practice. I am excited about LENS because I've seen how helpful it is for ADHD.
