I use an open, direct approach in my practice. I believe feeling comfortable and connected to your therapist is essential to treatment. I try and create the safest and most comfortable environment possible to help people work on challenging issues. When working with adolescents and young adults, I almost always include parents in treatment to most effectively improve communication and relationships in the family. I provide parenting strategies to deal with behavior problems, give suggestions to rebuild connections and closeness and help parents and teens work conflict out together.
I help restore hope for individuals and families that change can and will happen. I help guide people through difficult transitions, whether that is grief and loss, relationship changes or confusion about one's path (for any age).
