| Practice Description: |
Dr. Ransen, with over 30 years' experience in psychology, usually employs brief, solution-focused therapy. “Brief” means weeks or possibly a few months, but never longer. You can expect a relaxed environment of respect, compassion, and confidentiality - and above all, solutions to problems and rapid improvements to your mood, relationships, and general sense of well-being. He treats people with a wide range of complaints including:
• Marital, relationship, and intimacy issues (LGBT welcome) • Depression and suicidal feelings • Anxiety and panic attacks • Drug and alcohol addiction • Self-esteem and self-image problems • Parent-teen conflicts • Eating- and sleeping-related problems You may be surprised at how easily and smoothly therapy flows. Dr. Ransen does not normally spend your time and money delving deeply into your past. Rather, he begins in the very first session to identify the strengths you already have, which can then be used to build solutions to your current problem(s). He has proven time and again that even tiny “baby steps” can make a huge improvement in how you feel and how you function. Little changes can make big differences.
Dr. Ransen is board certified in clinical hypnotherapy, which he employs with excellent results for smoking cessation, anxieties and panic, chronic fears and pain, addictive behaviors.

Times are tough. A skilled, experienced therapist can make a really big difference, but you must take the first step. Just call any time. Appointments are available any time — days, evenings, or even weekends — in Delray Beach, Florida.
Things are done a little differently here. No waiting rooms, no waiting. No stacks of paperwork or embarrassing questions. LGBT welcome. You will be treated with the respect and compassion you deserve. Your privacy will always be a top priority.
You are welcome to come alone, with a loved one, or with a child or step-child (at least eight years of age, please).
No matter how bad things may seem, counseling will not drag on. You will almost certainly feel better within just a few weeks — often after the very first session. My greatest reward is to help improve your quality of life. I am so proud that many former clients are happy today, and that they still keep in touch. They are my extended family.
Here's a guarantee you have probably not heard before: If you believe that our first session was a waste of your time, then then there will be no charge at all. Not one penny! |
