| Practice Description: |
Yes, I realize that going to see a counselor is about as pleasant as visiting the dentist or accountant, but I hope you will give me the opportunity to prove that counseling can benefit you while not being terribly intimidating. If you’ve tried counseling before and are skeptical, please remember that each practitioner is different. Their personality is different, their philosophy and application of the many techniques in psychotherapy is different, and their offices are even different.
Okay, so the last part was just to see if you were paying attention, but I bet my office doesn’t look anything like one of my male colleagues’ offices. So, now you have a decision to make. Do you just take my word for it, or do you make a counseling appointment and come see my office for yourself? For those of you brave enough to face your fear of the counseling office, I look forward to meeting you.
I specialize in grief & loss issues and trauma work. I also work with relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. If you are struggling with grief related to job loss, medical complications, loss of family members including pets, or other significant life event(s), please contact me.
