Dr. Plotkin has 15+ years experience working with children, families and adults. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, and a MA from Pepperdine University.
She has lectured on the dynamics and challenges of foster parenting. She has been in private practice in the Thousand Oaks area since 2000. As a therapist, she uses both practical and educational methods. Dr. Plotkin has a compassionate, yet straightforward, active, and directive approach.
Dr. Plotkin is Spanish Speaking. She specializes in treating Abuse Issues, Children's Issues and Relationship/Divorce Issues, and improving Parenting and Communication Skills.
