If you or your teen are dealing with feelings of sadness, hurt, anger, worry a lot, anxiety, moodiness, acting out, are going through a life crisis or transition, are dealing with identity issues, sexual/gender identity issues (or want a therapist sensitive to your identity), have suffered a traumatizing event or have a history of childhood abuse, were a victim of a crime, raped, sexually assaulted, an incest survivor, lost a loved one, survivor of suicide/homicide, abused as a part of a religion/religious practices, etc. I am the therapist for you! I am a board certified expert in the treatment of traumatic stress. I am a Feminist Therapist and work with women's issues, men who are trauma/childhood abuse survivors, an adolescent specialist, and have worked extensively with sexual and gender minority communities. In addition, I enjoy being creative in therapy and utilize art, game play, sandplay and EMDR along with talk therapy.

| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
I do not accept insurance as I am concerned about issues of privacy with insurance companies. In addition, insurance companies use the fact you have been in psychotherapy against you. I don't recommend using insurance to pay for therapy. As an alternative, I offer a negotiable fee and multiple payment options. |

I also run a support group for women whose significant other is dealing with gender identity issues (transgender, cross-dressing, intersexed, transexual). |
