Sharing our personal struggles with an objective and supportive psychologist can be one of the most personally rewarding things we can do for ourselves. And, for me, it has been an honor to help others with their personal growth.
As a psychologist, I have served South Pasadena and surrounding areas (Pasadena, San Marino, Altadena, Alhambra, and Los Angeles) for over 20 years, the last 12 years with Fair Oaks Medical. Although I have helped people with every imaginable concern, most of my clients have been individuals and couples with relationship or employment issues. Other specialties include individual psychotherapy, adjustment to chronic illness, legal concerns, career counseling, addictions (including alcohol, drugs, gambling, therft, and internet), marriage counseling (including communication, infertility, infidelity and intimacy concerns), parenting difficulties, and written psychological evaluations. I also help people with the "psychology of money" including impulse spending and chronic financial "mismanagement". And, I am available on a professional-consultation basis to attorneys, doctors, interns and others who may need psychological evaluations, supervision, and/or more brief opinions.
For your convenience, I am available five days / week including most evenings, and for pressing matters, I can often make an appointment the same day you call. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card, but I offer a discount for cash pre-payments and I do accept some PPO insurance plans.
